Something Has Brought You Here

Perhaps you are living with anxiety, depression, overwhelm or a sense of disconnection from yourself. A relationship may be difficult, you may be carrying a loss, or life may simply no longer feel manageable.

You may understand exactly what is troubling you, or you may only know that something does not feel right.

Therapy offers a place to begin listening to yourself again.

Sometimes distress grows when there is a distance between what we feel inside and the life we are living.

Carl Rogers called this incongruence. We may become so used to coping, meeting expectations or carrying on that we lose touch with our own feelings, needs and sense of who we are.

What We Can Explore Together:

  • Anxiety, depression, low mood or overwhelm

  • Feeling disconnected, lost or unsure of yourself

  • Relationship difficulties and recurring patterns

  • Loss, separation and major life changes

  • What triggers you and why some situations bring up such strong feelings

  • The different parts of you that may be struggling, protecting or trying to cope

How We Begin

You do not need to arrive with a clear explanation or know exactly what you want to change. We begin with what feels most important to you now.

Together, we slow things down and make space for your thoughts, feelings and the responses you notice in your body. Rather than judging or trying to quickly remove what you are feeling, we become curious about what it may be communicating and what you might need.

There is no pressure to have all the answers. Nothing is forced, and we move at a pace that feels right for you.

Therapy is not about becoming a different person. It is about developing a steadier, kinder relationship with yourself and finding a way of living that feels more true to who you are.
